Morning of Wednesday, September 15th

363 Gold Run with sunflowers! Its hard to tell, but the house at 365 up behind was destroyed.

490 Gold Run and mine buildings are gone. Larry moved to this little red cabin in 1971. He mowed the schoolhouse lawn which undoubtedly contributed to its survival.

The remains of Larry's home and car, just below the schoolhouse.

The toddler swings still hang next to the spot where one of the two outhouses (with a toilet and sink inside) burned. We hope to replace this much appreciated convenience.

Our unscathed schoolhouse and coal shed sit between the burned Four Mile fire station and Larry's home.
